Beauty is a big aspect of my life – I love everything about it. Ever since I was a little kid I was always fascinated by makeup and hair. Once I turned 12 I started really getting into makeup despite not being allowed to wear any, that year I travelled to Afghanistan where my aunt taught me how to thread and do makeup. That experience was the beginning of my passion to create something beautiful.
In high school I was on the fence about what I wanted to do for my future, I didn’t think I had a future in the make up industry. We had a co-op program in our school and I remember asking to be in the cosmetic section of a drug store, I did make up for people and assisted them with their cosmetic needs. I loved it, but I wanted more, I wanted to be able to use my knowledge and apply it to my clients.
